Tonight Donnetta (who is quickly becoming one of my good friends) came over to play with Kendal. She worked with Kendal on stacking boxes, then we went over some goals that we have for her progress, and discussed frustrations that we have been having. Most of these frustrations are strictly related to her being a typical 2 year old!!
After giving her a quick bath and duct-taping her diaper on, she was ready to crash and now so am I. We have an early day tomorrow with speech therapy at 7:00am.

It is easy to blog and also you can download different backgrounds than those first shown at blogspot. I'm glad to see that you finally got a blog going so that we can all see what is going on with our sweetheart. She is growing so much!

Kerrie,
Great job! Kendall is adorable! I have a friend, also adopted from China, that does custom blog designs. I am the one who talked her into doing it and if you are interested, she will do your for you! Her blog is www.customblogdesigns.blogspot.com She has different blogs listed that she has done, including ours.

Congrats on your new blog! Ourhomesteadingquest sent me here. We have a little Angel, my grandson. It has been difficult finding a lot of information. There does seem to be a large spectrum of Angelman's and yet they are also so alike in so many ways.

I so remember the duct tape days when Ethan was 2-4. He will be 5 in a couple of weeks. He wears pull up type diapers and keeps those on better (at least no tearing the diaper off in the middle of the night.)

Anyway, I post a lot about Ethan on my blog. I'd like to get his mom blogging as well. More than once she has needed information about his therapy, milestones or something and I have a sort of record on some of these things just from blogging. I'm sure you will find your blog will be a great resource to yourself as well as others.

Look forward to getting to know you.

I'm here!!!
Kerrie, you are a wonderful mother and an inspiration to all of us. The courage, strength, motivation, and love that you show to Kendal every day is helping her in so many ways that you don't even realize. You are her biggest fan, and it shows! Looking forward to many more visits in your home!
